The Talented Kids Agency is regularly contacted by Casting Directors from all over Ireland and England (and sometimes even further abroad), looking for all types of students of all ages, for regular castings in TV and Radio Commercials, TV and Radio series, Feature Films, Short Films, Musicals, Modelling Work, Photo-shoots, Pantomimes, Theatre, Corporate Work etc.

There are usually certain criteria, with regards to looks, age and experience, that have to be followed before submitting students for these castings. We may be asked to put forward 3 or 4 students who fit the criteria given on the Casting Brief. Following this, an audition appointment will be set up for these students. We are very often asked to submit photographs of students, so it is essential that you have clear and recent photographs otherwise you could lose out on an audition. We organise a Photoshoot Day with our Agency Photographer in September/October of each year for you to avail of at very reasonable rates. Our TK Students have been extremely successful in coveting the winning roles at many Closed and Open auditions that they have attended throughout the years. Many students from the Talented Kids Agency have had, and currently have, starring roles in Feature Films (eg. Dublin Old School, Captain Morten & The Spider Queen, Michael Inside, I Kill Giants, Cardboard Gangsters, The Man Who Invented Christmas, etc), in many Award Winning Short Films (eg. Gridlock, Tides, Ellie, The Nation Holds It’s Breath, etc ) which have been shown, or will be showing, in Cinemas and Film Festivals throughout the world or on TV. Many of our Agency students from New Born Babies up to Adults are currently starring on RTE’s No.1 Soap Opera “Fair City”; TV Drama Series (eg. Can’t Cope Won’t Cope, Paula, Red Rock, Kat & Alfie: Redwater,  Love/Hate); RTE JUNIOR Programmes (eg. AbraKIDabra, Bright Sparks, Ballybradden, Kids Speak, Elev8, Hubble, we have also had many students over the years perform and demonstrate on the ‘Late Late Toy Show’; many current TV and Radio Adverts (Beats, Riverock, Londis, St. Vincent De Paul, AXA Insurance, Smyths, McDonalds, Vodafone, and many more); Irish Speaking TV Programmes & Drama Series for TG4 as well as Irish Speaking Voiceovers; Music Videos; Photoshoots; Fashion Shows; Cartoons ie Becca’s Bunch on Nickelodeon, YOYO, Purple Turtle, Jessy & Nessy, Little Roy; Radio Dramas; Touring Theatre Shows + Musicals ie Copper Face Jacks, Miss Saigon, BIG, Hairspray, Tina, Ghost, Chicago, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Oliver and many Christmas Shows including “Bugsy Malone”, “Wizard of Oz”, “Annie” and “Oliver” in the National Concert Hall, and upcoming Pantomimes in Dublin and Kildare. Over the years, our students have performed in many shows, pantomimes and productions which have been held in the following venues: The RDS, the Grand Canal Theatre, The Helix, Liberty Hall, Gaiety Theatre, Olympia Theatre, Moat Theatre, Pavillion Theatre, Tivoli Theatre, Rupert Guinness Theatre, Draiocht Theatre, The Everyman, Cork Opera House, Vicar Street, Belfast Opera House, Civic Theatre, Point Depot, Wexford Opera House, the National Concert Hall and more. Our students are often asked to do Corporate Work at various functions throughout Ireland and have also performed in Cabaret Shows in Ireland, London and in Spain.

We have had 2 students who have been nominated for Irish Film and TV Award’s -IFTA’S in the BEST ACTOR and BEST ACTRESS Category; we have had 1 student who has been nominated for BEST ACTRESS in the “Monte Carlo TV and Film Awards” and we have also had one of our Singing Students represent Ireland in the Eurovision. Countless Films and TV Programmes starring our students have won at the IFTA’s and Monte Carlo Awards and in many Film and TV festivals throughout the world.

Our students are encouraged to take part in Competitions in Ireland and Abroad and are also prepared for auditions/exams, and given advice on furthering their studies in Performing Arts at 3rd Level.

Many of our students are World Champions and All Ireland Champions in Performing Arts Competitions-Musical Theatre, Vocal(all styles), Instrumental, Dance (Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Ethnic), Drama(Classical, Contemporary, Comedy), Modelling(catwalk and photo) and Variety. They are also Top Prize Winners at Talent Shows, Singing, Dancing, Drama, Song-writing Competitions and Feiseanna throughout Ireland annually.

Many students have also furthered their training, or are currently doing so, in Drama, Musical Theatre, Singing and Dance at 3rd level as Full Scholarship Winners to prestigious Universities and Colleges throughout the World ie New York Conservatory of Drama, New York Film Academy, Millennium School of Dance Los Angeles, Laine Theatre Arts, Urdang and many more. Many have been accepted into well renowned Irish Universities and Colleges to study performing arts at 3rd level ie. Trinity College Dublin, The Lír etc
