Caitríona Osborne has been dancing since the age of three with Myrtle Lambkin School of dance, where she trained in ballet, tap and jazz for 17 years. In 2012 she successfully completed her Intermediate Performer’s Syllabus exam in ballet (IDTA), demonstrating her ability as a professional performer.
Caitríona has been an active member of DCU’s Dance Society since 2010, and has been performing and choreographing for the society since then. From 2010-2018, Caitríona contributed to nine national awards through choreography and/or performance at the annual Inter-Varsity competition.
Caitríona’s musical theatre experience includes co-choreographing DCU’s 2011 musical Back to the 80’s, while she also performed in DCU’s 2015 musical ‘Spring Awakening’, DCU’s 2016 musical ‘American Idiot’, and original Irish musical ‘Big Shot’ in Liberty Hall. She also joined Big Shot’s company tour to the 2015 San Diego International Fringe Festival and Tijuana Fringe Festival in Mexico.
Caitríona has previously worked as a performer for Cadbury, and has performed in numerous music videos including ‘Walking on Cars’ video for ‘Coldest Water’
. She has performed numerous times in the Helix, and has also performed in the Wright Venue, University Concert Hall (Limerick), the Sugar Club, and on Ireland AM to name a few.

Caitríona still attends weekly professional classes to ensure that her students are receiving the best and most up-to-date dance training. She teaches dance in an after-school club and to adults, and is now delighted to join Talented Kids as their Saturday dance teacher. Caitríona likes to incorporate technique and choreography in her classes, so that her students are equipped with a strong foundation in both technical ability and performance.
