Hi! I’m Gabrielle and I’m a mini-reporter for the children’s TV show Elev8. There’s never a dull moment and I just love it! I’ve interviewed an Olympic gold medallist, met the President of Ireland and interviewed Jedward, the sweetest popstar twins ever. It was my passion for reading that got me started as a TV reporter. When I was 9, my drama teacher persuaded my mother to let me go to an audition – I got on to the show and reviewed 3 books. When I turned 11, I was told that
Elev8 were looking for a Cathy Cassidy fan to interview her. They picked me! My interview with Cathy went so well that Elev8 asked me to do more and more filming. It has been a dream come true – I’d love, love, love to be a TV reporter or presenter when I’m older!

When it’s in a knowing pastiche we are, it isn’t a melodrama we wish to be, but such consideration makes even the play’s more ludicrously emphasised plot contrivances engaging. I was surprised by audience gasps of “Don’t do it!” issued to Johnny Ward’s hapless courier, but more alarmed to realise they were coming from me. This is an intelligent, unflinching and grimly funny production of one nasty piece of work.

REGULAR KID INTERVIEWER
Gabrielle Leleu has been invited back time and again to do interviews and present different topics which have included interviews with author Cathy Cassidy and author David Donohue. Gabrielle was 1 of the 6 requested Kid Presenters on ELEV8 to present Christmas selections for the programme. Gabrielle also hosted a slot on reviewing toys from Hamley’s Toy Store
HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS – FAIR CITY CHARITY CD – 2010
Our very own Fair City Actors Niamh Quirke and Gary Nolan were two of the chosen Cast Members to be included in this project. They were filmed performing the song in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham with the RTE Symphony Orchestra behind them which was broadcast on RTE 1 on Christmas Eve. They also performed the song in a Variety Show called Mooney Tunes With The RTE Concert Orchestra held at the Grand Canal Theatre. The show was hosted by Derek Mooney who mentioned Niamh’s character “Rachel” in his introductory speech. Other stars who performed on the night were Brian Kennedy and X Factor’s Mary Byrne. The song is available to download on iTunes with proceeds going to the Simon Community.

Bradley Burke aka Who Are You Kidding Judge, was the only Judge requested to be on the Hector Show. Bradley did a Live Broadcast on the Morning Radio Show which is in Galway. Hector and Bradley got on Brilliantly! He was interviewed by Hector, and asked to give his thoughts on Politics, spoke with phone-callers, gave advice, read out notices, presented music tracks and said a big Hi to Talented Kids!!! Bradley has been asked to go back on the Hector show in the near future. Bradley has also been featured with the other judges in a lot of national newspapers, TV magazines and has attended many photoshoots.
